First fully comprehensive functional evaluation & prevention education program for preschools
One of the efforts to improve the oral health of children and teenagers is by implementing school-based oral health promotion programmes, as proposed by the WHO. Pre-school serve as even more appropriate settings for health promotion as they can reach most children at the age of 2–5 and provide important networks to their families and communities.
Kindergarten-based programs can also help increase children's commitment to dental providers, especially those from disadvantaged socio-economic backgrounds. Moreover, kindergarten years cover the life period of childhood, during which lifelong sustainable behaviours, beliefs, and attitudes related to health are established.
